Creepy: Check Your Facebook Location Settings

The other day I was Facebook chatting a friend from the full message view, not the little chat bar down at the bottom, and something there creeped me out big time! It’s small, but if you notice the little location arrow right there next to the date, you may be in for a surprise.

Hover over that and what do you see? This.

I could see exactly where my friend was chatting me from AND I noticed that my location was showing as well. For me, it’s not a big deal most of the time, but obviously there are times when it could be scary and inappropriate to be sharing location like that.
