Explore the Universe: With the recent hype of last week’s Mars Rover ‘Curiosity’ landing I thought it would be appropriate to share an app to do with space. There is an app for those with an eye for Astronomy. Skyview uses your phone’s location and paints a picture of the stars on your screen using your phone’s camera.
Stars are projected on your screen and will make constellations when you move your camera toward star formations. You can tap a star or otherworldly satellite to find out the name of the object. By changing the time and date you can also figure out where the sun, moon or particular star will be any time of the day.
Painting the night sky has never been so easy.
