Angry Birds has done it again! They’ve released what’s sure to be another chart topping game, although this time, it takes our beloved birds to a galaxy far, far away! That’s right, the newest release from Rovio is Star Wars!
The game begins at the beginning of Episode IV: A New Hope, with blonde tufted red bird as Luke Skywalker. Soon, the black bird, enters the scene as Obi Wan, who has traded in his bombs for the Force, and after a few levels of fighting pig Tuskan Raiders, Red Bird Luke learns how to use a light saber! It gets even better with the addition of Yellow Bird as Han Solo and Pink Bird as Princess Leia. Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2 all make an appearance too. And to cap it all off, after getting a certain number of stars, you unlock the Millennium Falcon! Each character has a unique ability, which makes for an interesting and fun change that go beyond just the normal slingshotting.
The story takes you through the desert planet of Tatooine to space, incorporating some of the gravitational elements of Angry Birds Space, where you fight pigtroopers and Darth Vader in none other than the Pig Star. With the new characters, fun additions and classic story Angry Birds Star Wars is sure to please!
