Yes it is as girly, as it sounds, but in the best way. The women who attended and the women who run this business are powerhouses! Every event sells out almost a month in advance.
Last Thursday night I spoke about branding, for their professional development series in Seattle. The Columbia Tower Club, 76 floors above the city, held over 100 amazing women.
Ladies from Seed IP Law Group, Rocketdog Communications, Hotel Max, and Green Rubino, warmed up the audience. Finally I spoke and tied together stories about how each aspect of the previous speakers’ expertise contributes to the value of your brand and your business.
We fielded questions about how to get your message out, strategic partnerships, etc. Bringing together experts in this manner gave Girl POWER Hour a new level of engagement for their patrons that will endear GPH to their tribe.
GPH is currently organized and operated by Darnell Sue and a “Power Team” of local business women who all have full time day jobs. These ladies put on events that are always hip and unique. Sponsors provide swag, location, and cash all which go to benefit attendees.
Businesses take note if you want to reach women on the move. And Ladies if you are looking for a fresh fashionable, and fun way of networking, mark your calendar for the 3rd Thursday of the month. Girl POWER Hour started in Seattle and is now opening in cities across the US!
