It’s a question we have probably all asked ourselves at one point or another and whether you’re a Twitter all-star or still on the development squad, it never hurts to check on just how you’re doing once in a while. Here are 5 great tools for measuring your Twitter skills in several areas.
- Twittergrader: Our Twittergrader score is part of our weekly analytics and will quickly let you know if you’re slipping. It uses an algorithm based on number of followers, power of followers, updates, update recency, follower/following ratio, and engagement. It grades you with a score from 1 to 100 and is a percentile, meaning a score of 95 would put you in the top 95% of twitterers.
- Klout: Klout is a little more brutal than Twittergrader so if you need to be grounded after getting a great score, try it out. Klout scores on a bunch of different things, but the main report includes the True Reach, Amplification, and Network Score. True Reach looks at how many of your followers are actually real and active people vs. bots or dead accounts. Amplification is the likelihood a tweet will spark a conversation and Network Score is based on how engaged your most influential followers are.
- Qwitter: The thing we like about Qwitter is you can set it and forget about it. It quickly links with your Twitter account and then sends you an update every week with your ‘Twitter quitters’, in other words, the people that ditched you on Twitter and no longer follow you. Couple this with a tool called TweetEffect and figure out exactly what you are saying wrong and when!
- TweetReach: Ever wondered how far your tweet reached out into the twittersphere? Tweetreach can tell you, it’s that simple. Put in your Twitter handle and away it goes. Test out different kinds of tweets to see which of them make it farther and get more impressions. Also be sure to check out the list of your top impression contributors so you can thank them and possibly partner!
- Twitter Boobs: When Twitter has you down and you just don’t feel like tweeting any more for the day, sit back and stare at your Twitter boobs for a bit of relaxation time. Enjoy the goods and keep tweeting!
